Stonehome Brewing Company – Watford City

Stonehome Brewing Company is a brewpub and craft brewery in Watford City founded by the Stenehjem family. Steve and Gretchen Stenehjem raised their four children in the town, and the family teamed up to enter an industry they had long been passionate about. The pub opened in 2016, and the brewery was built out the following spring. A second brewpub followed in Bismarck in 2018. The name means a homestead or farm built of stone in Norwegian, and it also translates the Old Norse surname Stenehjem. The slogan is Hopped Up on Homegrown, and the brewery calls itself everyone’s microbrewery. It focuses on approachable, clean and inventive small-batch beers. The brewpub welcomes families, friends, kids and co-workers, and beer is sold to go in growlers and four-pack cans. Stonehome also serves food and offers catering. It is part of the Six Shooter Hospitality Group.
