Buffalo Commons Brewing Co

Buffalo Commons Brewing Co. is a craft brewery and taproom in Mandan whose roots go back to a homebrewing gift. In the early 1990s, Linda bought her husband, Ted, his first homebrewing kit to give him a hobby. About 20 years later the hobby became a brewery. Planning, research and consulting began in 2009, papers were signed and equipment ordered in 2012, and the first batch, the Salem Sue Stout, was brewed on January 28, 2013. Its beer was available for sale by March 2014. The taproom offers tours, tastings, pints, growler and crowler fills and merchandise. The brewery says it started with a simple goal and a passion for brewing good, homegrown beer, and it has grown into a local craft beer favorite that offers a taste of the Midwest. Its beer is sold at the brewery and in bars, restaurants and liquor stores around North Dakota.
