Gideon’s Brewing Company

Gideon’s Brewing Company is a locally owned, veteran-owned craft brewery in downtown Bismarck. Owner David Duma is a former Marine. Gideon’s started in an industrial shop in Lincoln, North Dakota. It later upgraded from plastic conical fermenters to temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks for more consistent beer, expanded and moved downtown in November 2019. Since then the brewing team has focused on small test batches and constant variety. It brewed more than 100 new beers within months of reopening, expanded from eight taps to 17 and has released more than 600 different beers. The taproom also pours hard seltzers, hosts community events and runs a mug club. Food is available through a partner kitchen, Fireflower. The brewery’s mission is to treat every customer like a close friend, and its motto is Live Life, Enjoy the Craft, Feed the Lion.
